This was also 1 of the example I could show, Like with sonic lastworld or batman game I almost get the same result with all of my games. This version of sonic It's not emulated, it's from the store itself. ![]() ![]() You may need to tweak your emulator settings. You posted an emulation video, and audio crackling in emulation is a pretty common problem. I've actually not encountered it recently and thought Valve patched it with the most recent beta update where it says "Fixed PipeWire and Steam failing to elevate their thread priorities", (also apparently SteamOS uses Pipewire which I didn't realize). Seems odd SteamOS launched with Pulseaudio by default, Pipewire seems more consistant with eliminating audio crackling. Also noticed some audio crackling with just general use of Steam Deck, probably a Pulseaudio quirck. Only been able to replicate it on FFVI Pixel Remaster but probably applies to other games. Ever since the most recent update, audio gets sped up and crackles after resuming a game from Sleep mode. ![]() Originally posted by sigg:On the Beta patch.
